Descripción del rol:
- Policies, Guidelines and Protocols: Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations. Conduct safety briefings and regular site inspections to enforce proper safety procedures and address any potential hazards.
- Site Supervision: Supervise all construction activities on-site, ensuring that teams follow the project plan, specifications, and safety protocols. Lead efforts to ensure efficient progress and address any on-site issues promptly.
- Resource Management: Allocate labor, materials, and equipment effectively to ensure smooth progress. Identify any resource shortages and coordinate with suppliers or other teams to resolve delays.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors to ensure that all tasks meet project specifications and are completed on schedule. Monitor their performance, addressing any issues related to workmanship or delays.
- Project Management: Track project progress and address any potential delays or issues. Develop strategies to keep the project on schedule, making adjustments as needed to ensure project milestones are met.
- Work Planning Oversight: Oversee the work planning process on-site, including forecasting equipment needs, managing personnel assignments, coordinating road closures, and providing regular updates on work in progress to project management.
- Insights & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of site activities, including daily logs, labor hours, materials used, and incidents. Provide regular updates to the project manager, highlighting potential risks and recommending solutions.
- Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Relationship Management: Address all Know Your Client (KYC) inquiries in a timely manner. Help manage internal client relationships by carrying out simple procedural tasks.
- Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill. Provide direction to field and subcontractor personnel to meet schedule and production goals.
